After studying architecture at the Technical University of Munich, with important professional stations in Amsterdam and Tenerife, I worked for many years in London for Foster + Partners, among others. My artistic exploration of the melting of glaciers, in collaboration with Professor Giovanni Betti (UC Berkeley) and students of the UDK Berlin, was recognised nationally and internationally under the name ‘The invisible Mountain’ in the Italian Pavilion at the 17th Biennale of Architecture in Venice (www.theinvisiblemountain.com). The digital visualisations were also a huge success in Japan at the Sapporo Triennale (SIAF, Sapporo International Art Festival) ‘The Last Snow’. The topics of sustainable living and building, as well as the health of people and the planet, are particularly close to my heart - also in my work as an illustrator and designer. I live and work in Berlin.
